ARGENTINA censor cover 1940 Ramos Mejia to Belgium -no service

ARGENTINA censor cover 27 APR 1940 Ramos Mejia to Belgium. The cover was sent before the invasion of Germany into Belgium but the ship arrived after the German occupation and got a cancel “retour”. Apparantly the cover got delivered at a later stage (reour cancelled) and was also seen by the German censor (some edge wear at top)

ARGENTINIË überroller 27-4-1940 Ramos Mejia naar Verviers, België. De brief is verstuurd voor de oorlog maar op moment dat het schip Europa bereikte was de invasie doot Duitsland in volle gang en kreeg de brief een stempel “retour”. Dit is later doorgehaald en via de Duitse censuur alsnog bezorgd. Interessant stuk (bovenzijde iets beschadigd)
